Personal Auto

Comprehensive and customizable insurance policies in Ontario for all types of cars

Vehicles are a big part of our daily lives. From doing errands, going to work, road trips, and outdoor fun, our cars take us to where we need to go. Since your car takes you to so many places, it’s important that your auto insurance protects you every time you hit the road.

In Ontario, the standard auto insurance policy offers basic coverage only that could leave you financially vulnerable in the event of an accident. That’s why we offer a range of optional coverages for comprehensive protection so you can drive with confidence and peace of mind.

Why you should choose our insurance brokerage for your auto insurance needs:

Collision Insurance

Coverage that pays to repair or replace your car if it was damaged in a collision with another vehicle or object.

Comprehensive Insurance

Coverage that pays to repair or replace your car for damage caused by natural disasters such as fire, hail, lightning, or flood, or if it was vandalized or stolen.

Liability Insurance

Coverage that pay for your legal costs in the event that you are sued if you injure or damage someone’s property as a result of a vehicular accident.

Other important coverages that we include
Direct Compensation – Property Damage (DCPD)

This covers loss or damage to your vehicle for accidents where you were deemed ‘not at-fault.’ This means that even though another party caused the accident, your insurance company covers the claim.

OPCF 20/27 – Loss of Use/Liability for Damage to Non-Owned Auto

These two optional coverages are often bundled to protect you when driving a vehicle you don’t own. OPCF 20 provides coverage for a rental vehicle while your car is being repaired due to a covered claim. OPCF 27 extends your auto insurance to the rental vehicle so you’re protected without needing to buy extra insurance from the rental company.

OPCF44 Family Protection

An optional liability coverage that covers you and your passengers in the event of a car accident where the other party does not have insurance, is underinsured, or is unidentified such as in a hit and run. If you need to make a claim against the at-fault party whose insurance is insufficient or doesn’t have any, OPCF44 will cover the shortfall.

Key Coverage

Common Claims

Collisions

A car lost control in the snow, colliding with a barrier and required major repairs.

Theft

A high-theft risk vehicle parked in the driveway overnight was stolen and reported to the police. The car was recovered in pieces weeks later and replaced by the insurance company.

Liability

A car was travelling and slipped off the road, causing damage to a store along the highway. The driver was found liable for the damage and the storeowner sued. This coverage helps cover the driver’s legal costs.
